Owner and wine aficionado Martin McKeever opened Shenandoah Wines in the Spring of 2003, with a vision of creating Virginia's finest wine tasting experience. Trained in some of the finest restaurantes the New York City Metropolatan Area, The Grounds for Sculpture- Rats Restaurant, Tribeca, Northstar cafe, and the Dino Morales School of fine dining, infuses every tasting he creates with his extensive knowledge and passion for perfection. Chef McKeever started his career as a Wine Master, Server, and aficionado at the destinguished Frog and  the Peach restaurante, a well reviewed restaurant located in New Brunswick NJ. Although he had an affinity for the New York Culinary arts, Wine Sommelier McKeever knew that greater challenges and opportunities awaited him in Virginia.

In 1993, McKeever  began a career as Wine Bar Manager for the Frog and the Peach in New Brunswick, NJ. He was given room to experiment, and created quite an eclectic wine menu following. He knew that in order to achieve his long standing dream of sharing great wine with the community; he would have to establish his own wine bar tasting style.

Martin McKeever opened the doors of  Shenandoah Catering in the Spring of 2003. Before opening the doors, he spent the previous six months traveling the globe, in search of the finest wines. Critics and patrons agree. The Shenandoah Wine Tastings exhibits Virginia's best wine tasting experience.
